Zagreb weather

Zagreb Weather - The Zagreb climate is continental, with four separate seasons. Summers in Zagreb are hot and dry, but at least the weather is more predictable than at other times of the year. Though it is hot, temperatures rarely soar past the mid-30s, with the average around 30°C. Nights are cool and pleasant, and this is the season of choice for many tourists. Zagreb can experience very cold winters, with weather fronts coming in from the north, bringing icy winds and sometimes snow. At night, temperatures can drop to -10°C, with the wind chill taking that figure even lower. Days, however, can be quite mild if the weather is sunny, and there is little chance of rainfall in January and February.Spring and autumn in Zagreb are characterised by changeable weather conditions, with pleasant and mild sunny days broken by sudden rain showers and storms. The skies can be overcast for days at a time, and these periods see the greatest amount of rainfall. Visitors should be prepared for sudden temperature dips, with many nights being quite cold.
