Zagreb Airport
Zagreb Airport, also known as Pleso Airport, is the main international airport of Croatia. Located 14 km from the central railway station in Zagreb, it served 2,062,242 passengers in 2009 and is the primary hub for Croatian flag carrier Croatia Airlines, and
is served by major airlines offering direct and connecting flights to all points of the globe. The Airport has one terminal which serves both domestic and international flights.

Zagreb Airport has started construction of another new terminal wih 12 jetways, planned to open in 2012, and increasing capacity to 3.3 million passengers. A second parallel runway is also being considered. Furthermore, by 2011 a new rail line is to open along the eastern bypass of Velika Gorica, extending from Zagreb across the 'Homeland Bridge'.

Bank is located in the airport terminal open from 07.00-21.00, Post Office is located within Passenger Terminal, working hour from 07.00 - 21.00, newspaper/magazine stand, open from 5.30 am till 21.00h, souvenir shop. Coffee bar is located next to Domestic Arrivals, working hours from 5.30 to 22.00, restaurant 'Faust Vrancic' at airport is located on the first floor, lift available. The restaurant offers self service facilities as well as table service. Air-conditioned and sound proofed with PA system to keep passengers up to date with flight information. View of airport runway available as you dine. Duty Free shop selling gifts, cigarettes, alcoholic beverages, confectionary, toys, Croatian food produce including chilled food, fashion section, open from 06.00-21.00. Toilets including baby changing. Lost and Left Luggage facilities.
Transportation
The main bus terminal at is located immediately outside the International Arrivals Exit. Buses leave every 30 minutes from 07:00 to 20:00. Single tickets cost 30 HRK (around €4.00). The number of parking places is limited, there are three parking areas with a total number of places for only 550 cars. Fees are from 10 to 15 HRK per hour.
