Zadar Airport

Zadar Airport is located in Zemunik Donji, at the above-sea level of 88 m (289ft), near by connection to the Zagreb-Split highway. From the center of Zadar city distance is 8 km and others towns in it's surroundings are Biograd na moru (21 km) and Sibenik (56 km).This airport is the main link of northern Dalmatia with the others parts od Croatia and the world...also it's especially important for a tourists whose are interested for the final destinations at the coastline's parts of northern Dalmatia, for the nautical tourists whose are interested to reach adjacent marinas in Bibinje-Sukosan, Zadar, Biograd, Primosten, at the island Murter and ACI marinas in Vodice, Skradin and Simuni at the island Pag.



Airport has 9 passengers and luggage registration counters which are opened 1 hour before inside Croatia flights and 3 hours before international flights.Counters are closed 15 minutes before inside Croatia flights and 20 minutes before international flights. For the other charter flights, counters are closed 30 minutes before...Important note; persons with hearing or seeing damages, persons with motion problems have priority at the passengers and luggage registration counter and escort to the exit where (if it's necessary) wait a „liftmobil“ vehicle to get them into a plane.Persons with special needs can dial 023205904 to notify their coming and ask for help during registration and other details.For the unattended children is provided reception service and hostess until child sit in the plane.

In the airport is built a new G&B Aviation Terminal for the reception of business aviation and it's the only of that kind in Croatia. Terminal has two floors; at the parterre is area for passenger's reception with caffe bar; at the upper floor there's three suites for the crew and passenger refreshment.There's also a restaurant and memorabilia (gift shop) with very large offer of Croatian, Dalmatian and Zadar's souvenirs...until Croatia is no EU member, every international passenger (with exhibit of boarding pass) can buy in Duty Free Shop a products released of toll and taxes under the very favourably prices.The airport has 577 parking spaces, 9 rent-a-car offices, taxi standpoint is across the international arrival's exit and that service you can use every day between 06.00 h and 22.00 h...at your request, taxi service is available off given time.The public bus transit to the Zadar is under the authority of „Liburnija d.o.o.“Destinations towards airport Zadar gives an accent are: Pula and Zagreb (inside Croatia), then Bratislava, Berlin, Stockholm, Oslo, Koln, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munchen, Zurich, Friedrichshafen, Bruxelles, Dusseldorf, London and as a new one – Dublin.
