Travel to Croatia

By car

Having a car and going from point A to point B it is by far your best option. All major cities are connected by the, recently built, highway. Dubrovnik, the city in the south, is the only one that isn't connected by the high way all the way. However, this will give you the chance to see and experience more, since local roads go through many towns and villages.

Drivers must possess a driver's license and vehicle registration for vehicles and green card (for foreigners) while driving (The maximum permitted level of alcohol in the blood is 0.5 parts per thousand)

By ferry

Travelling by ferry is pretty exotic and sometimes the only way to get to some islands. However, near the end of fall, during winter and at the beginning of spring, traveling by ship could be quite a challenge as there really aren't many departures.
