Split Airport



split airport Split Airport is located at the very exit from the town of Kastela, towards Trogir. It is at 20 km distance from Split, and at 6 km from Trogir. It is the second largest in Croatia in terms of passenger numbers and it is directly connected to many cities of Europe, now is linked to 74 destinations. Airport has its busiest travel time from March through September.







Airport in Split, also known as Resnik is small international airport only has one runway and one terminal which serves both domestic and international flights.
In front of the terminal building, there is a car park with about 350 spaces. The airport halls are spacious and clean, having a direct access to the exterior through wide entrance doors. The arrival hall is in the ground-floor.

Transportation

The airport has full range of services available including a selection of Airport Buses and just outside the arrivals hall you can find offices of Airport Taxis and car rent companies.
To get from Airport to your destination you can rent a car, take a taxi or a bus. Every 20 minutes there is regular bus number 37 which is driving to Split and Trogir. It takes about 30 minutes driving to Split and about 10 minutes driving to Trogir.
The Split Airport Bus is an inexpensive option if your destination is close to the Split Harbour Office Terminal; the trip takes 30-40 minutes and costs about 4 EUR. Buses leave Split Airport shortly after arrival of any Croatia Airlines scheduled flights.
Taxis are available outside the terminal building at all times during airport operating hours.

Airport Facilities

There is a bank offering currency exchange services on the passenger terminal ground floor. There is also a post office in the terminal.
A coffee bar is located in the international passengers lounge, and there is a restaurant with lounge just outside the international area.
A mini market is located on the terminal ground floor offering a wide choice of Croatian souvenirs, gifts, newspapers, tobacco and much more.
Working hours of the shops are matched with airport working hours.
There is also a duty-free shop at the airport, which sells some 6,500 different products, including alcohol, tobacco, perfumes, sweets, watches, sunglasses, leather goods, toys and jewellery.
There are toilets and support facilities for disabled people at the airport.
